ONLINE GROUP PIANO LESSONS
 

The ongoing online courses are designed for small groups of students with different skill levels and experiences. Lessons are interactive and Individual attention is assured even in group lesson setting.

Beginner

This course is designed for complete beginners. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of piano playing. By the end of the course, students are expected to read simple sheet music and start playing with both hands.

Intermediate

This course will elaborate more about movements, tone production as well as structure. It will also cover the interpretations of some renowned composers' work. It is suitable for students who have completed the Junior level, or attained at least RCM Level 4 or equivalent.

Elementary

This course will introduce more complex rhythms, figuration and piano classics. It is suitable for students who have completed the Beginner level or know music fundamentals.

Pre-advanced

This course aims at enhancing the practical aspect (tone and texture) as well as intellectual aspects of musicianship (musicality and personal expression). It is suitable for students who have completed the Intermediate level, or attained at least RCM Level 6 or equivalent.

Junior

This course focuses more on basic techniques and stylistic interpretations. After reviewing the fundamentals, technical work and different repertoires will be assigned to each student. It is suitable for students who have completed the Elementary level, or attained at least RCM Level 2 or equivalent.

Advanced

This course offers the opportunity to explore the interactions between analysis and artistry in performance. It is suitable for students who have completed the Pre-advanced level, or attained at least RCM Level 7 or equivalent.

About the Teacher:

Sinyu Tsang earned her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She was also awarded the DipABRSM in Piano Performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. With over 13 years of teaching piano and theory, she garnered a reputation for her diverse teaching methods and patience. Her teaching incorporates music appreciation with the emphasis on practical technique, intellectual interpretation and natural artistry. Most of her students progress to advanced levels and achieve excellent results in festivals and exams.
